Now, nearly sixty years after Independence, as some of the aromas, flavors and art of royal cooking are at a risk of being lost forever. 21 Gun Salute is an effort to document and pass on the secrets to the next generation. Hosts of the royal palaces are opening their recipe books to contribute to the experimental culinary wave sweeping through urban India.
21 Gun Salute, one of the best restaurants in Gurgaon was founded by Mr Madan Mohan with an effort to capture the regal heritage, rich food tastes & unique recipes that emerged from the Royal Rasois - especially of the 21 Gun Salute states. For this, the 21 Gun Salute team has sourced recipes from the royal palaces of erstwhile Mewar, Jammu and Kashmir, Gwalior, Baroda, Hyderabad and Mysore.
